New Delhi, August 02 (ANI): Pakistan's Deputy Foreign Minister has talked about India and its growing ties with the West. Hina Rabbani termed India as “darling of the West” and noted that India was “open” to some countries. She made the remarks while addressing the Pakistan Governance Forum 2023 in Islamabad. While she was describing Pakistan’s relations with all its neighbours, she termed India as the “darling of the West”. Also, Khar accused India of being “close-minded to some of its own people certain countries in the region”. “India has decided to be the darling of the West, but at the same time, being very very belligerent within the East. India stands out as a country which is very very open towards certain countries, but very very close-minded to some of its own people and certain countries within the region,” Hina Rabbani Khar said. On the other hand, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has shown a willingness to hold talks with India. Shehbaz Sharif, who has given nuclear threats to India several times, said that war is no more an option. India-Pakistan ties have been fragile as the cash-strapped nation continues to emanate terror attacks.
