Customs Department seizes a truck with goods worth Rs 30 million

Mumbai (Maharashtra), Apr 09 (ANI): The Customs Department has caught a truck carrying goods worth Rs 30 million during a raid in Mumbai on Monday. The officials have seized mobile phone parts, LCD touch pads and covers. The goods were smuggled from Chennai in trains and were sold in the local markets of Mumbai. The truck driver, who is claiming to be the owner of the goods has been detained and is being enquired. Further action will be taken on the basis of findings in the investigation.
