COVID-19: Afghanistan, Bahrain, Iraq and Oman report first cases

New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): Death toll in China jumped to 2,715, while 29,700 have been recovered. In the past 24 hours, countries including Afghanistan, Bahrain, Iraq and Oman have reported cases of COVID-19. Owing to the coronavirus outbreak, schools in Hong Kong which had remained shut over past three weeks continue to remain close. Meanwhile, 2 more Indians onboard quarantined cruise ship ‘Diamond Princess’ have been tested positive with COVID-19. Around 80,239 cases have been confirmed globally, according to World Health Organization report. The virus has spread to over 24 countries since December after it first case originated from China’s Wuhan city.
