Moscow (Russia), Feb 16 (ANI/TV BRICS): The second international rapid chess tournament was held in Moscow, the place where the stars came together. In the final, 10 grandmasters demonstrated their skills in the art of Blitz chess. Each chess player had just over three minutes to checkmate their opponent. By the final, three grandmasters were contending for the gold. The young talent Raunak Sadhwani was also close to the leaders. The seventeen-year-old Indian grandmaster is now considered one of the world's most gifted chess players. He came to the final with a convincing victory in the Rapid. The leader in Blitz chess was Alexander Grischuk of Russia. Sergey Karjakin showed a more stable game in the tournament, so the first prize went to him. Kateryna Lahno was the best among the women. In 6th place in the overall rankings, the three-time world Blitz champion beat two men - Spanish grandmaster Francisco Vallejo Pons and Russia's Sanan Sjugirov. She also won among her direct rivals, beating current world Blitz champion Bibisara Asaubaeva and three-time Russian champion Alexandra Goryachkina.
