Category of terrorism! Pakistan Govt to treat Imran Khan’s “violent” supporters under Army Laws

New Delhi, May 17 (ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to take stern action against PTI chief Imran Khan’s supporters. PM Sharif held a meeting of the National Security Committee on May 16 in the presence of Army Chief General Munir. Pakistan Govt decided to try Imran Khan’s supporters who attacked the state assets, under Army Laws. Govt strongly condemned the violence after Khan’s supporters allegedly vandalised state offices, air force base. Pakistan Government even added that such violence comes under the “category of terrorism”. A lawyer said that Military courts do not have to hold the standard of evidence that regular Courts are obliged to uphold. As former Pak PM Imran Khan was arrested in Al-Qadri case, violent protests were witnessed all across the country. Since then, top PTI leaders, workers, Imran Khan’s supporters have been arrested by Pakistan Rangers
