Casio showcases its series of shock-resistant watches

Tokyo/New Delhi, Sept 14 (ANI): CASIO has achieved a total worldwide shipment of CASIO G-SHOCK, shock-resistant watches, exceeding 100 million units. The development of the G-SHOCK watch began from the idea of a rugged watch that would not break when dropped. Since then, G-SHOCK has continued to evolve with improved functions and performance and has continued to evolve from the beginning of development, gaining popularity all over the world. With the fusion of sports and youth culture, G-SHOCK has been supported by wide range of generations. At summer workshops held at schools, developers and participants discussed new ideas for the development of G-SHOCK. The penetration rate of automobiles has been increasing every year in India, and an explosive market expansion is expected in the future. In India, Orix, the major Japanese leasing company, has entered into the car leasing business. The car leasing business is expected to grow largely from the increase in above medium wage earners.
