Car rally marks India’s 75th Independence Day in Toronto

Toronto (Canada), Aug 16 (ANI): A car rally was held in Greater Toronto area on the eve of India’s 75th Independence Day. It was celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm. A number of events held across the Greater Toronto area, which is home to over one million Indo-Canadians. Scores of Indo-Canadian families participated in the car rally. In another event, a huge Indian flag-raising ceremony was held in Brampton. It was organised by the ‘My Indians in Canada Association’ organization. A 60X40 feet Indian flag along with a Canadian flag was raised outside Brampton City Hall.
