New Delhi, April 7 (ANI): Due to government’s carefree attitude, miseries for Pakistani citizens are continuously increasing. Flour crisis in Pakistan has brought global shame to the country as people are losing lives in stampedes. Once again, Pak citizens have received a major blow from the government’s end. Now, Shehbaz Sharif’s government failed to provide 24/7 gas supply to its citizens. Petroleum Minister Musadik Malik said that govt cannot provide 24/7 gas supply to the masses. Notably, Pakistan is highly dependent on natural gas for energy and govt’s decision will add to people’s woes. With rising demand and insufficient supply, load-shedding in the country has become a daily occurrence. Situation worsened during Ramazan as people need gas for cooking, especially during Sehri and Iftar timings. However, PM Sharif had recently asked officials to ensure an uninterrupted supply of the commodity. As the demand-supply gap widened, companies limited the supplies to the industries and it has created a conflict-like situation. The Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry called for immediate action over the gas supply shortage.
