Canada: Pashtuns hold anti-Pakistan protest for sponsoring terrorism

Toronto (Canada), Aug 02 (ANI): Canadian Pashtuns staged protests in Toronto city on Sunday demanding “Stop Pakistan’s Proxy War in Afghanistan”. Over a thousand protesters gathered in two separate protests at Dundas Square Downtown Toronto. The First protest was organized by mainly Pashtuns of Pakistani origin and the second protest was organized by Canadian Afghan Council. Hundreds of protesters chanted “Pakistan – Stop Terrorism” “Pakistan Stop funding Taliban”. They also urged the international community to put sanctions on Pakistan. Security situation in Afghanistan has deteriorated since the withdrawal of U.S.-led NATO troops. The Afghans blame Pakistan for sponsoring the Taliban and other terror outfits to topple the government in Kabul.
