Northern U.S, (U.S.A), Jan 18 (ANI): The burst of snow across the country has forced some cities to close schools. A layer of ice had coated roads and bridges causing extremely hazardous driving conditions. Crashes have resulted in blocked roads in multiple locations. Georgia Governor Nathan Deal issued a state of emergency for 83 counties that cover much of north and central Georgia. Snow is also falling from parts of the Florida panhandle up to Maine.
