Burnt buses, submerged cars become new selfie points outside Sri Lankan PM’s residence in Colombo

Colombo (Sri Lanka), May 12 (ANI): Amid the ongoing political crisis in Sri Lanka, including large scale anti-government protests that turned violent on May 09, the country has found for itself new selfie points near burnt buses and cars submerged in ponds outside the Prime Minister’s residence in Colombo. People were seen taking selfies near burnt buses, and cars submerged in ponds outside PM’s residence. Buses and cars were set to flames by the protesters on May 09 amid the political crisis in Sri Lanka. “People are taking selfies here as they want to take it as memory, many people could not join protests, they are taking selfies to show solidarity with the protesters,” Local said.
