Updated:7 years, 5 months ago

London (England), May 16 (ANI): Burberry has beat profit forecasts as a strategy to re-energise its luxury brand and showed early promise ahead of the arrival of its new designer Riccardo Tisci. It recently appointed former Givenchy star Riccardo Tisci as its new designer - and shares have risen 18 percent since he was given the role. CEO Marco Gobbetti is now refocussing Burberry on higher end luxury, to catch up with faster growing rivals.
