Prakash Singh Thakuri, a below-the-knee amputee from Nepal's Karnali region, defied odds at Amputee Runway Nepal 2025, inspiring many. Held in Kathmandu during Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month, the event featured dozens of differently-abled models walking with confidence. Organized by the Nimala Foundation, it aimed to empower Nepal’s 100,000+ amputees facing trauma and isolation. The show celebrated resilience, self-expression, and inclusion, proving that disability is not a limitation.
