BNM highlights enforced disappearances at First World Congress in Geneva

Geneva, Switzerland (ANI) January 16, 2025: The First World Congress on Enforced Disappearances was held in Geneva on the 15th and 16th of January 2025.During the Congress, the Baloch National Movement (BNM) highlighted the ongoing cases of enforced disappearances in Balochistan. A delegation led by Dr. Naseem Baloch, Chairman of the Baloch National Movement, participated in various events and discussion panels throughout the two-day congress. In these sessions, members of the Baloch National Movement raised critical questions regarding how affected individuals and their families could receive support and assistance. In addition to attending the sessions, BNM representatives met with the Rapporteur of the Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances, as well as with representatives from various human rights organizations and non-governmental organizations from around the world. Throughout the two-day congress, the Baloch National Movement focused its campaign on drawing international attention to the issue of enforced disappearances in Balochistan.
