Baloch activists raise issue of human rights violation by Pakistan at UNHRC

Geneva (Switzerland), Mar 15 (ANI): Baloch activists, Muhammad Jawad and Abdul Nawaz Bugti, raised issue of human rights violations and state terrorism committed by Pakistan in Balochistan, at the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva. Activists highlighted the atrocities committed by Pakistan against women and children of Balochistan. "The Baloch live in stone age, despite of abundance of resources," said activist Abdul Nawaz Bugti. "300,000 people have been displaced, tortured and killings of people in Balochistan has become a common practice," he said. They appealed the United Nations to investigate the situation of the people living in the region. Another Baloch activist Muhammad Jawad reiterated similar sentiments.
