Karachi (Pakistan), Jan 02 (ANI): An agitation was witnessed in Pakistan’s Karachi when a number of residents took to the streets to protest against U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement of cutting off aids to Pakistan very soon. During the protest organised by Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC), an umbrella coalition of more than 40 Pakistani Political and Religious parties, placards reading anti-Trump slogans were on display. Earlier, Donald Trump took to Twitter and wrote: “US has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!” Baloch and Sindhi political activists have welcomed Trump’s stance.
