New Delhi, Apr 17 (ANI): Overseas Pakistanis held demonstrations in front of the International Criminal Court. Demonstrators highlighted gross human rights violations in Pakistan. They condemned abductions, arrests, torture of journalists and, murders of political activists in Pakistan Pakistan is not a “free democracy” and ranks with a low score of 37/100. Reporters Without Borders ranks Pakistan 157 out of 180 for media freedom – in the bottom 15 percent. The country also witnesses frequent blasphemy cases and extrajudicial killings. Pakistan even faces poor ranking in gender equality, women rights and child marriage. Pakistani minorities have been subjected to rising violence.
