Anti- Pakistan protest held outside Pakistan High Commission to mark ‘Black Day

London, Oct 23 (ANI): Marking the 70th anniversary of the tribal invasion attack of Jammu and Kashmir, a massive protest was held outside the Pakistan High Commission by Kashmiri activists in London. On October 22, 1947, Pakistan army, disguised as tribal raiders, invaded the undivided state of Jammu and Kashmir. Marked as ‘Black day’, the protest was organised by Jammu Kashmir National Independence Alliance, an umbrella grouping of Kashmiri Political Parties and Civil society organisations, based in U.K. The protesters chanted anti-Pakistan slogans and demanded an end to forceful occupation of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Gilgit-Baltistan. Chairman of Jammu Kashmir National Independence Alliance (JKNIA) Sardar Mahmood Kashmiri said the Pakistan government has never generated employment opportunities for the people of PoK. He added that Pakistan has never provided education for the people and has failed to provide good roads to the people. The tribals, known as Kabailies, were employed by Pakistan to change the demography of Jammu and Kashmir by executing people in the region.
