Another protest in Gilgit against 'illegal' taxation by Pakistan

Gilgit (Gilgit-Baltistan), Dec 03 (ANI): In the row of protests against Pakistan-led atrocities, another agitation was held in Gilgit against illegal taxation imposed on the province residents. Lawyers from the region, who have been facing Pakistan's brutalities, said imposition of any tax stands 'illegal' as Gilgit residents do have Pakistan's citizenship and do not have any representation in the national assembly and senate. Gilgit Baltistan is part of state of Jammu and Kashmir, which remains under Paksitani occupation.
