Berlin (Germany), Mar 15 (ANI): Angela Merkel was sworn-in as the German Chancellor on Wednesday, for a record fourth term. She received her certificate of office from President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and took oath in the German Parliament. Merkel was voted 364 to 315 by lawmakers with nine abstentions, in favour of re-electing her. She leads a re-run of the 'grand coalition' that has governed Germany since 2013, bringing together her conservative CDU/CSU alliance and the Social Democrats.
