Davos (Switzerland), Jan 23 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh has met with Paypal Vice President Richard Nash during his visit to Davos on Tuesday. Paypal is topnotch service provider in Fintech (financial technology), in which Andhra Pradesh is focusing very much. During the meeting, Lokesh said that the Government of Andhra Pradesh has been utilising technology at a large scale in order to overcome post bifurcation problems. Andhra Pradesh government is taking many measures for development of IT and FinTech. Many policies formulated and subsidies are given. Technologies like Blockchain, Fintech are specially focused. Technology usage is being given special focus. AP started using block chain technology for land records. That enables the records to become tamper proof and avail loans in short time. In Visakhapatnam they are availing visa card services to bring less cash transactions. Paypal vice president lauded AP's technology to serve general public. Mr. Richard Nash expressed interest in working with Andhra Pradesh government round the clock.
