Male (Maldives), Sep 04 (ANI): Former President of Maldives, Mohd Nasheed, said that Al Qaeda & ISIS are capturing strategic positions in security forces, in the police, in military, in immigration in the country. “Al Qaeda & ISIS are developing a deep state within Maldives, they are capturing strategic positions in security forces, in the police, in military, in immigration, in the education ministry and, therefore, the deep state is able to influence. We are very confident that the new government will rise up to this challenge and we will be able to dismantle the deep state,” Nasheed said at the Indian Ocean Conference.
