New York (USA), Jan 08 (ANI): Harshly criticizing the airline while recounting the ‘pee-gate’ horror incident that happened onboard Air India New York-Delhi flight, eyewitness Sugata Bhattacharjee on January 08 said that his 2-page complaint regarding the incident went nowhere. Bhattacharjee also informed that he flagged the crew about accused Shankar Mishra’s intoxicated state despite which the incident took place. Further criticizing the handling of such a serious situation, the eyewitness also informed that the lady was not offered a new seat after the incident. However, Bhattacharjee also assured about his trust towards the airline as he believes that a single isolated incident cannot define a well-trusted Indian airline like Air India. “He finished close to 4 drinks under 40 to 45 minutes. I flagged the flight attenders to keep an eye on him and went to sleep. We were all shocked. I asked the crew to give her a new seat but they refused. What was happened was wrong but my complaint was how the thing was handled. I wrote a two-page complaint that went nowhere. I will still continue to fly Air India, one isolated incident cannot define the airline and it has been our go-to airline.”
