Ahead of PM Modi’s visit, avalanche advisory issued in Davos due to heavy snowfall

Davos (Switzerland), Jan 21 (ANI): The entire Davos has turned white amid heavy snowfall. Heavy snow in the Alps has made travel difficult in many regions while danger of avalanches continues. The main road leading to Davos has been covered with snow. The town’s website for avalanche information advised people in nearly 30 residences to seek more secure dwellings for Sunday evening. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Davos on January 22-23 to attend the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting. He will be accompanied by six union ministers.
