London (United Kingdom), Nov 29 (ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan approved in principle to changing status of Gilgit-Baltistan to an interim province by accepting the reform committee’s recommendations. Activists strongly condemned Pakistan for the decision of annexing the territory. “Trying to annex Gilgit-Baltistan as Pakistan’s fifth province is clearly illegal by International norms, UN resolutions on Kashmir and Constitution as well”, said Nasir Aziz Khan, Central Spokesperson of United Kashmir People's National Party (UKPNP). “Pakistan does not share sympathy with people of Kashmir, Jammu, Gilgit-Baltistan or anyone, they just want to disturb peace and harmony”, said Chairman of South Asia Watch, Shabir Choudhry. “Gilgit-Baltistan is part of state of Jammu and Kashmir and issue remains on the agenda of United Nations Security Council and will of the people. With Imran Khan’s decisions, we will launch campaign throughout world against illegal acts proposed by Government of Pakistan”, said Misfar Hassan.
