7 killed, 25 wounded as bus plunges into river in Nepal

Dhading (Nepal), Nov 30 (ANI): At least seven people were killed and 25 injured in Chitwan district of Nepal on Wednesday morning after a bus collided with a truck and fell into Trishuli River. Reportedly, five passengers, who are critical, have been brought to Kathmandu for treatment. Operations are currently underway to rescue passengers of the bus which fell 25 feet deep into the river. Road accidents are common in mountainous Nepal and among one of the most common causes of death every year. Accidents are often blamed on poorly maintained and crowded vehicles.
