Washington (United States), Dec 19 (ANI): At least six people were killed after an Amtrak train derailed and fell off a bridge onto Interstate 5 between Tacoma and Olympia in Washington state. The death toll is expected to increase as per the U.S. officials. Approximately 78 passengers and five crew members were on board when the mishap took place. Multiple fatalities were reported after the train derailed near Tacoma, about 40 miles south of Seattle, spilling at least one train car on to busy Interstate 5. Amtrak 501 was traveling from Seattle to Portland along a new route on the maiden voyage of an expanded high-speed option.
