Moscow (Russia), Dec 28, (ANI/TV BRICS): Tchaikovsky once conducted in these walls. Today, the great composer's music is performed by the "Orpheus" Radio Symphony Orchestra. The ensemble is celebrating its 25th anniversary. It is rightly considered to be the successor of the best traditions of the symphony orchestras. The room is filled with those who came to wish the band Happy Birthday. Among the orchestra's admirers are representatives of the BRICS states as well as Angola and Mozambique. The distinguished guests noted the role music plays in strengthening friendship between different countries and peoples. The evening was adorned with performances by soloists of the leading Russian musical theatres. The best examples of world classics, film music and works by national composers were heard from the stage. The full version of the concert marking the 25th anniversary of the Orpheus Radio Symphony Orchestra will be broadcast on TV BRICS on new year's eve.
