2 killed, 24 injured in mass shooting at music festival

Las Vegas, Oct 02 (ANI): At least two people were killed and 24 others got injured after a gunman opened fire at an open-air country music festival in Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Hotel. While hundreds managed to flee from the scene, the area remained panic-gripped after prolonged automatic gunfire shots echoed in the air. Armed police arrived at the scene of the attack on the Route 91 Harvest festival and parts of the area were shut down. According to reports, one suspect, thought to be the only shooter, is believed to be dead.
