Florida, Sep 17 (ANI): The entire Florida has been brutalised by the destructive Hurricane Irma that was earlier ranked as category 4 storm. Residents of highlands of Florida are still waiting for power after Hurricane Irma barreled through the state. Utility crews have been working around the clock in the Florida Keys to restore power. Over 1.1 million people were without power as of Saturday according to the Florida Division of Emergency Management. Governor Rick Scott informed reporters that the work is in progress. Irma has so far killed at least 84 people, including 33 in Florida. Meanwhile, relief efforts remain ongoing for residents of the Keys who did not evacuate. Residents will regain access to Key West, the last town of the island chain, but they'll have to drive through badly damaged areas like Big Pine Key, before they can find out whether their own homes survived.
