Shillong (Meghalaya), Apr 23 (ANI): Meghalaya, the name itself describes ‘abode of clouds’ in Sanskrit and its capital Shillong offers nothing less. Highest point of north eastern town is an absolute delight for wanderers. Situated at the staggering altitude of 1965 meter above sea level, tourists can enjoy stunning panoramic view of the hill town. Viewpoint at the top is strategically located to awestruck tourists with hill town’s sheer beauty. “It is very beautiful, I think people should take inspiration from people of Meghalaya, we love the hospitality and we will come back again”, said a tourist. The region is generally dominated with rainy season, which adds up to Shillong’s beauty.
