Leh (Jammu and Kashmir), Jun 15 (ANI): A primary source of income for businesses in Leh-Ladakh is generated through tourism. Tourists, both domestic and international, admire and are attracted by authentic, traditional items with historic value. Thus, antique shops in Leh have considerable business potential. As more and more people enter into the business, Leh is becoming increasingly dependent on tourism. “My shop is only depending upon tourism. Tourists love the local, traditional items we sell. If more tourists come, our business will grow more,” said a shop owner. Locals of Leh, therefore, hope that the government will take measures to encourage tourism and support businesses.
