Thoubal [India], June 16 (ANI): In an inspiring turn of events, 20-year-old Erwin Khundrakpam from Thoubal district has emerged as Manipur’s NEET UG 2025 topper, scoring an impressive 99.82 percentile. Despite this remarkable feat, Erwin called it his “worst exam of the year,” expressing genuine surprise at the result.Erwin's success is a moment of immense pride for his parents who supported him every step of the way.Erwin’s path to success wasn’t a typical one. Originally inclined toward engineering, he was encouraged by his father to consider medicine instead. His father emphasised that becoming a doctor could have a more direct and lasting impact on people’s lives—a message that ultimately changed Erwin’s path. Like many students, Erwin’s academic journey was also disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic, making his success even more impressive.
