“World looking at India to achieve Sustainable Development Goals...” Norwegian Envoy to India

New Delhi, August 31 (ANI): Norway’s new Ambassador to India, May-Elin Stener speaking on India’s role in achieving Sustainable Development Goals said that the world is looking at the country to achieve the goals. “First of all, let me say that I'm really happy to be here in India, and the ceremony that I went through yesterday was a very moving ceremony. It was very moving to give the credentials to the President. I think I have been off to a very good start as to the priorities. I think this is a very good time to be in India. The world is looking to India to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. We are dependent on India to achieve those goals if the world is going to achieve them. So we would be very pleased to continue working with India to achieve those goals,” said Norwegian Envoy to India, May-Elin Stener.
