Women are being trained for skill-based self-employment in remote areas of J&K

Rahouri (J&K), August (ANI): Government of India initiated various training programmes in J&K to empower women. Under National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) scheme in collaboration with J&K Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (JKBRSETI), women are learning to start small businesses. Women's Empowerment Training for 30 days in Cutting-Tailoring is taking place in Rajouri. Sewing centers are opened in far-flung areas in Bathuni Panchayat of Rajour District. Women are being given training of cutting and tailoring along with breakfast, lunch and refreshments for free. After training, interest-free loans will also be provided to the women to start their own business.
