Pinjore (Haryana), Dec 17 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini on December 17 welcomed the ‘One Nation, One Election’ bill stating that it will create a balance between speed of work and finances. He also dismissed opposition protests over the bill saying that Congress opposes every good initiative, that's their only agenda. “Continuous elections cost a lot and slow down development and progress. One Nation One Election will create a balance between speed of work and finances… This bill should be passed… Congress opposes every good initiative...That's their only agenda,” said Nayab Saini. “We have bought 100 pc of crops on MSP. Our vegetable farmers also get compensation... Congress and AAP are trying to politicise the issue... PM Modi has taken historic steps to strengthen farmers. In Haryana, we have given many subsidies to reduce the financial burden on farmers. Punjab government and Congress governments of Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana should do the same... The price of DAP and urea increased three times under the Congress government in 2012-13... Internationally, the price of fertilisers increased in 2022. But PM Modi ensured that prices did not increase in our country...,” he added.
