Updated:9 months, 3 weeks ago

Nadia (West Bengal), Nov 25, 2025 (ANI): West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose departed from Ranaghat Junction Railway Station for Murshidabad. He is visiting the India-Bangladesh border in Murshidabad. Ahead of visit Governor Bose said, "Murshidabad is becoming the epicentre of a political storm in West Bengal. I have been visiting this place as and when any untoward incident takes place or I get reports that such incidents are planned. It's not good for society that such exercises are done by misguided politicians to cause confusion in society. There has recently been a very provocative statement made by a Murshidabad MLA. My visit here is to assess for myself what the undercurrents are here and to take timely and effective steps to protect the lives and properties of citizens."
