New Delhi, October 7 (ANI): As the death toll in Israel from the Hamas rocket fire rose to 22, The Times of Israel reported on Saturday citing Magen David Adom's emergency service, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 7 expressed solidarity with the people of the country. According to the latest development, around 300 people were wounded in the attack and over 70 people were seriously injured. This comes after a barrage of rockets slammed into southern and central Israel on Saturday morning after Hamas launched a surprise attack. “Deeply shocked by the news of terrorist attacks in Israel. Our thoughts and prayers are with the innocent victims and their families. We stand in solidarity with Israel at this difficult hour,” PM Modi tweeted. Terror cells from the Gaza group have infiltrated a number of communities in the south of the country, according to Times of Israel.
