Srinagar, May 01 (ANI): Tourists have been facing a lot of problems for the last two weeks due to the closure of the National Highways after bad weather in Srinagar. Recently, the world-famous Tulip garden attracted lakhs of tourists from different parts of the world. Most houseboats are also jam-packed with visitors and enjoying the mesmerizing beauty of the traditional hospitality of the valley. But, due to continuous rainfall, National Highways are affected badly and even the water level of Dal Lake has also increased which results tourists being stuck in houseboats. Some tourists, who had already booked their train bookings, are very much worried about their departure. The administration has issued an advisory for the people to refrain from venturing in and around these water bodies. Thunderstorm, lightning and squall etc are likely to continue in parts of UT, according to IMD.
