“We are like family…” Meitei-Kuki students under one roof in Ukhrul for NEET preparations

Imphal (Manipur) April 27 (ANI): After ethnic violence in Manipur for a year, Lok Sabha elections concluded successfully for two seats. The north-eastern state has been marred by clashes as parts of Manipur remain tense. However, a story of hope has come from Ukhrul, where students of both Meitei-Kuki have come under one roof. 37 students from different communities are pursuing their dreams at ‘Assam Rifles Centre of Educational Excellence’. The students have been preparing for the NEET Examination as they aspire to become doctors. The young aspirants called themselves ‘a family’ and lauded arrangements made by Assam Riffles at the center.
