We always express sorrow...” Israeli President Herzog recalls 26/11 Mumbai attacks

New Delhi, Nov 17 (ANI): The 26/11 Mumbai attacks have been considered as one of the most brutal attacks on any Indian city in the past decades. In the horrific incident, 10 terrorists infiltrated Mumbai from Pakistan through sea route, carried out a series of attacks killing 175 people. The attackers targeted prominent locations like Leopold Cafe, Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, The Trident Hotel, and the Nariman House. In an interview with ANI on Nov 16, Israeli President Isaac Herzog recalled 26/11 Mumbai attacks and drew parallels with Oct 07 Hamas attack. President Herzog extended his gratitude to India for their shared interests and efforts to combat terrorism. The Hamas attacks in Israel on October 07 were widely condemned globally. PM Modi was among the first leaders to strongly condemn the “terrorist attack” and expressed solidarity with Israel. On Oct 7, over 2000 Hamas terrorists breached Israeli borders and carried out a horrific terror attack, killing over 1400 people. In retaliation, Israel launched a strong counter-offensive targeting Hamas units in Gaza.
