Srinagar (J&K), October 23, 2025 (ANI): To empower Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) the Voluntary Medicare Society (VMS), Srinagar, organized a comprehensive Life Skills Training Workshop designed specifically for individuals with disabilities (Divyangjan). The event brought together participants from diverse backgrounds along with subject experts, educators, and rehabilitation professionals to focus on building essential life competencies for independent and dignified living. The primary objective of the workshop was to equip PWDs with practical skills that enhance their confidence, communication decision-making, and ability to lead self-reliant lives. Through interactive session’s group discussions and hands-on activities, the participants explored various aspects of daily living, personal safety, social interaction, emotional well being and employability.
