Imphal (Manipur) November 17 (ANI): In conflict-torn Manipur, tension looms large again as barbaric killings sparked outrage in the state. Manipur experienced fresh turmoil after bodies of three people were recovered yesterday in Imphal. Earlier there were reports that 6 bodies were recovered, however, is unclear if the bodies belong to the missing persons. People's rights activists have issued a 24-hour ultimatum to the govt, demanding decisive action against armed militant groups. Spokesperson Athouba warned of severe public backlash if their demands were not met within 24 hours. The COCOMI has demanded immediate military action against militants and the repeal of AFSPA.
