Uttarkashi (Uttarakhand), November 17 (ANI): Efforts are in full swing as rescue operation at the Uttarkashi Tunnel collapse site entered Day 6 on November 17. Rescue teams and agencies have intensified their bid to rescue the 40 trapped workers at the earliest. Heavy auger drilling machines are in action to save the workers. The tunnel between Silkyara and Dandalgaon on the Brahmakhal-Yamunotri national highway collapsed in the early hours of November 12. The labourers are confined in a small space of about 2 kilometres in the debris and they were sending in food, water and oxygen via a pipe to the trapped workers.
