Uttarkashi rescue operations: Blades of auger machine damaged, brought out of Silkyara tunnel

Uttarkashi (Uttarakhand), November 25 (ANI): The blades of the auger drilling machine being used for the tunnel rescue operations were damaged on November 25. The debris of the blade was carried off. This is one of the few times the machine was destroyed while trying to make a hole in the tunnel to pave a path for the escape of the workers. The Silkyara Tunnel collapsed on November 12 while under construction, as a result of which 41 workers got trapped inside.
