Uttarkashi (Uttarakhand), August 8, 2025 (ANI): Disaster relief and rescue operations continued for the second day to evacuate people trapped in the Dharali-Harsil flash floods. Helicopters have been deployed for the rescue efforts, with evacuees being transported to the Matli helipad. Adequate arrangements have been made to ensure the safe travel of rescued individuals to their respective destinations. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviewed the ongoing relief and rescue operations in Dharali for the second consecutive day, overseeing efforts to manage the crisis effectively.
