“Using technology to quickly credit refund of taxpayers,” says CBDT Chairman Nitin Gupta

New Delhi, Oct 10 (ANI): On tax filing and ITR refund, CBDT Chairman Nitin Gupta said that on July 31, CBDT informed that around 53 lakh new taxpayers have joined, which is a 16 pc growth. Adding further, he informed that they are using technology to quickly credit the refund of taxpayers, after processing the return. He said, “On July 31, we have informed that around 53 lakh new taxpayers have joined, which is a 16 pc growth...Tax collection will get wide and deep...We are using technology to quickly credit the refund of taxpayers, after processing the return.”
