UCC Bill to be tabled in Uttarakhand Assembly today, CM Dhami leaves residence with Constitution

Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Feb 06 (ANI): As the Uniform Civil Code Bill is to be tabled in the state legislative Assembly on February 06, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami left from his residence in Dehradun with a copy of the Indian Constitution. CM Dhami will present the Uniform Civil Code Uttarakhand 2024 Bill in the State Assembly today. The bill will be tabled during the ongoing four-day special session of the assembly, which began on February 05. On February 04, the Uttarakhand Cabinet approved the final draft of the UCC, which proposes uniform civil laws for all communities in the state.
