Agartala (Tripura), Aug 24 (ANI): Celebrations were held in Tripura’s Agartala as India’s Chandrayaan-3 made the soft landing on Moon on August 23. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha attended the celebrations of the historic feat. The lander made the successful soft landing on the lunar surface at around 6:04 pm. With this historic feat, India became the first nation in the world to make a soft landing on the lunar south pole. India also became the 4th country in the world to land on the Moon after the US, Russia, and China.
