Tripura CM Manik Saha launches ‘MSSSKA 8.0’ campaign to boost children’s health in the state

Agartala (Tripura), October 24, 2025 (ANI): The state-level inaugural ceremony of the ‘Mukhyamantri Sustha Shaishab Sustha Kishore 8.0’ campaign was held at the Chitrangada Kala Kendra Hall in Teliamura. The event was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tripura, Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha. Also present on the occasion were Chief Whip of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, Kalyani Saha Roy, Secretary of the Health Department Kiran Gitte, and several other dignitaries. The Chief Minister formally inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp. On this occasion, he personally distributed iron and deworming tablets as well as vaccines to students from various schools of the state, symbolizing the official rollout of the campaign’s activities. In recognition of their significant contributions, the Chief Minister also felicitated the Health Department, Education Department, and Disaster Management Department for their commendable efforts. The event witnessed an enthusiastic and spontaneous participation from people, reflecting strong public support for the state government’s health and wellness initiatives for children and adolescents.
